노력은 너희들이 해야 하며

깨달은 이들은 가르쳐줄 뿐이다.

이 길을 따라서 명상하는 이들은

마라의 속박에서 벗어난다.

This session is thoughtfully designed to introduce the fundamental principles and methods of meditation, catering to practitioners with or without prior meditation experience. Additionally, it aids in achieving body relaxation, reducing stress, and managing anxiety.

🚶🏽Walking Meditation: Integrate walking meditation between sitting sessions to heighten body mindfulness. Slow, mindful walking aids in improved focus, reduced stress, and enhanced well-being with every step. Embrace tranquility by linking breath and movement, discovering solace in each stride. Unearth a path to present-moment clarity.

🌞 Holistic Well-being: Beyond relaxation, meditation fosters holistic well-being. As you continue your practice, you may notice improvements in your sleep quality, reduced levels of stress, enhanced emotional resilience, and a heightened sense of self-awareness. The benefits extend far beyond your meditation cushion.

🌈 Community Support: Join a community of like-minded individuals who are also on their meditation journey. Engage in discussions, share your experiences, and learn from others as you navigate the path to inner harmony together. Our community fosters a safe and supportive environment for growth.

🌿 Experienced Meditation Instructor: “Our abbot, serving as the meditation instructor, brings years of expertise to guide you through each meditation practice. He will gently lead you through techniques that help you connect with your breath, mind, and body, and ground yourself in the present moment to achieve inner stillness.”

The Great Wisdom Heart Sutra

Avalokiteshvara, the compassionate bodhisattva

Deeply practicing Prajna Paramita, the perfection of wisdom,

Understands the five aggregates are emptiness to overcome all suffering.

Sariputra! Form is emptiness. Emptiness is form.
Form is not different than emptiness. Emptiness is not different than form.
This is same for feeling, perception, mental formation and consciousness.

Sariputra! Emptiness of everything is no birth, no death,

no cleanness, no uncleanness and no increase, no decrease.

Therefore, in emptiness there is no form, feeling, perception,

mental formation, and consciousness,

No eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind,
No form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and mental object,
No realm of eyes, and further to no realm of consciousness,
No ignorance and cessation of ignorance,

Further to no aging-death, and cessation of aging-death,

No suffering, the origin of suffering,
The cessation of suffering and the path to the cessation of suffering,
Even no wisdom and attainment of wisdom

As all Bodhisattvas rely on Prajna Paramita without attachment
there is no obstacle and fear in their minds.
They abandon all delusions to attain the ultimate Nirvāṇa.

All Buddhas rely on Prajna Paramita

to attain the supreme enlightenment.

Therefore, one must know Prajna Paramita is

The profound mantra, the brightest mantra,

The utmost mantra, the peerless mantra

It ends all suffering that is true, is not untrue.

So proclaim the mantra of Prajna Paramita.

The mantra says thus:

Gate, Gate, Paragate, Parasamgate, Bodhi Svaha!
Gate, Gate, Paragate, Parasamgate, Bodhi Svaha!
Gate, Gate, Paragate, Parasamgate, Bodhi Svaha! (Vow)

The Four Great Vows

  1. Numberless sentient beings, we vow to save them all. (Vow)
  2. Endless delusions, we vow to cut through them all.(Vow)
  3. The infinite teachings, we vow to learn them all.(Vow)
  4. The inconceivable path to Buddhahood, we vow to attain it to the end. (Vow)
